New Quizno Salads May Be Fattening
We stopped by a Quizno's yesterday with the intention of trying one of their new flatbead salads. Our intentions quickly changed after reading the ingredients.
For instance the Roasted Chicken w/Honey Mustard contains bacon, chedder and honey mustard dressing. While all of these could be made to be low fat, the words "low fat" were nowhere to be seen. We take this to mean that the salad is likely high in calories and high in fat.
To give Quizno's a fare shot, we went to Quiznos.com this morning to see the caloric breakdown. Much to our surprise, the only information Quizos provides is carbs. For a fast-food chain to provide this limited amount of information is simply inexusable.
We can only guess how many calories a flatbread salad really has. Our suggestion for those you on diets is to avoid Quiznos and eat elsewhere.
If someone from Quiznos wants to provide us with a caloric breakdown, we'll post it. Just click on the comments link below or use the form on our contact page.

what is up with this? I had a flatbread salad for lunch and then checked online for nutrition info. NOTHING. I sort of thought there was law or something about this stuff.
I completely agree. It is very odd that Quizno's does not provide any nutritional information.

I love the roasted chicken flatbread salad and it keeps me full for a long time, it must be fattening. I sent Quizno's an email inquiring about the calories - been over a week and no response!
I asked at my favorite quizno's for a nutrition information sheet, and I was told they don't have them. Couldn't find anything on the web either. I emailed their contact link, but no response. I guess if they don't want to give out that information, there are many other sub places just as good, and more accomodating to their patrons.
