Being Overweight Can Cost You At The Pump

A new study suggest that America's bulging waisteline is costing us more at the pump. A study conducted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Virginia Commonwealth University suggests that Americans are spending more on gasoline because they weigh more. The study compared Americans weight today with weight from 1960 and found that people weigh, on average two dozen pounds more today than 46 years ago.

This is just another reason to walk more and drive less. The calories you burn may result in lifetime savings, not to mention a sexier body.
