Starbucks Says Goodbye to Trans Fats

Starbucks announced yesterday that pasteries and other foods sold at half of its outlets will be free of trans fats starting this week.

NetSweat.com comments: We applaud this move, particularly given the ability of Starbucks to influence trends within the restaurant industry. Of course, we would be happier if Starbucks were to offer a bigger selection of healthy foods and start more aggressively offering non-fat milk. (Most locations offer non-fat milk, but you have to ask. Otherwise, you will get gut-busting whole milk in your latte.)
