The main differences between the Certified Personal Trainer and the Certified Advanced Personal Trainer are the following:
- The Personal Trainer Certification covers business & marketing applications and the Advanced does not.
- The Advanced program goes into much more detail about advanced fitness program development, supersetting, giant sets, circuit training, super circuit training, and dumbbells. So, earn both and be twice as qualified!
When you are completing the CPT and CAPT programs together, you can mail the CPT material in for grading, or wait until both courses are completed, then mail them back together.
Adding the CAPT credential to your resume makes you more marketable to employers. It will also make you more sought after by potential clients. In addition, you will have more knowledge to help your clients achieve greater results.
